지구 온난화를 막기 위하여 온실가스의 방출을 규제하도록 한
국제기구협약이 1994년 발효되어 어느덧 29년이 다 되어간다.
이후에도 수많은 협약들이 개최되었으나 강대국들의 정치, 경제
논리로 인하여 실효성 없이 진행되었으며 지금 이 순간에도 지구는
뜨거워지고 자연과 인간은 생존의 위기에 직면하고 있다.
이에 나의 작품은 지구의 위기를 기능적 공공미술, 정크아트,
메카니즘적인 형태로 표현하는데 주력하고 있다.
지구환경의 위기는 수학적으로 1+1=2가 아니라 1+1=5~100이 될 수 있기에
이를 간과한다면 우리 아이들의 미래는 없다.

An international organization agreement to regulate the emission of greenhouse gases to
prevent global warming came into effect in 1994, and it is already 29 years old.
After that, numerous agreements were signed, but they were ineffective due to the
political and economic logic of the great powers, and even now, the earth is heating up and
nature and human beings are facing a crisis of survival.
Accordingly, my work focuses on expressing the crisis of the earth in functional public art, junk art,
and mechanical forms.
The crisis of the global environment is not mathematically 1+1=2, but 1+1=5~100, so if we overlook this,
our children will have no future.
